This is a true sanctuary for feral cats backed by research and designed for the real essential survival needs of the Outdoor feral cat.   The dark appearance is more hidden and gives the wild cat a sense of security.  All four walls, roof and floor are insulated ( 0.6 inch thick of Styrofoam ) for good protection from outside temperature in cold winter.  The waterproof linoleum roof is sloped so that no water accumulates while also allowing cats to jump on the roof to rest and survey the area.  The roof is openable for easy cleaning or laying straw etc.  The floor is up to 8 inches above the ground, so you don't need to worry about rain or snow getting wet inside. It also prevents snow from covering or blocking the entrance.  The L-shaped offset door and PVC door curtain can prevent the cold wind from entering the cat’s warm sanctuary.  The exterior is made of fir wood suitable for outdoor use.   Very easy to assemble, one person can assemble it in half an hour.
